Green Goddess

Breakfast: Coffee, Green Goddess Shake

Lunch: Vegetarian Chili with Avocado, Muti-Grain Toast

Dinner: Curry Noodle Soup (Carrots, Potatoes, Celery, Onion, Zucchini, Mock Chicken)—I was painting by the river this afternoon, and the wind was so cold. I started chanting Curry Noodle Soup!

Dessert: Almond Cookies—oh, love. I just made a new batch. Almond is Naoko’s catnip.

Purple Shake

Breakfast: Coffee, Purple Shake

Lunch: Vegetarian 4-Beans Chili, Corn Bread, Grape Tomatoes, Apple, Tea

Dinner: Japanese Risotto (Shiitake Mushrooms, Enoki Mushrooms, Swiss Chards, Tofu, Zucchini, Rice), all cooked in a broth together—definitely a comfort food in winter, also can be a refrigerator cleaner

Green Goddess

Breakfast: Coffee, Green Goddess Shake

Lunch at Le Pain: Vegan Quiche, Coffee, Vegan Apple Cannelé—they were okay. The Vegan Apple Cannelé was much better the last time I had it.

DInner: Vegetarian 4-Bean Chili, Toast, Tomato, PIckled baby Carrots—oh, I so didn’t feel like cooking tonight. Thank God, I made so much  chili the other day.

Lunch: Vegetarian 4-Bean Chili, Toast, Plum Sauce

Dinner: Scallion Noodles with Pan Fried Cauliflower—scallion noodles are good by themselves, but I wanted to make it more interesting.

Very Pink Shake

Breakfast: Coffee and Very Pink Shake (Almond Milk, Banana, Cherries, Strawberries, Blueberries, Blackberries)

Lunch at DeeDaa: Drunken Noodles with Tofu, side of Green Papaya Salad

Dinner: Vegetarian Chili, Wheat Berry Salad, Cornbread, Chocolatey Dark Ale from Good Beer

Breakfast: Black Tea with Honey, Green Goddess Shake—my throat hurts. When it does, I drink lots of teas with honey. No coffee for a few days.

Lunch: Potato, Leek, and Green Pea Soup, a Pecan Cranberry Roll, Sauteed Spinach, Okara, Sweet Brown Rice, and Orange instead of Banana

Dinner: Vegetarian Chili, Sauteed Kale with Mixed Mushrooms(Shiitake, Enoki, Maitake ), Multi-Grain Bread

We can digest almost no nutritions from mushrooms, but they add flavor and umami (hidden thing you feel it’s tasty!) to the dish. I love them.
