Lunch at Jivamukti Cafe: Portobello Mushroom Pesto Panino, Hummus and Grilled Vegetable Panino, Small Green Salad, Peppermint Tea—I’ve never been here before. I visited Jivamukti at the old location once and had a very bad experience with the people who worked there. So, I stayed away from them for more than a decade. But M told me that he liked the vibe and the relaxed feel in the cafe, and their food is good and vegan friendly, I thought I would give it a shot. All the people who worked there were nice and friendly this time. Maybe I will even take a yoga class there.

But when you are invited, you cannot ask for it. When I was asked to bring dessert, I brought vegan desserts without telling anyone. Only one person at the party asked if my brownie was gluten free! Luckily yes.
