Thursday’s Menu 9/20

Green Goddess

Breakfast: Coffee, Green Goddess Shake

Collective Left-over Lunch: Tomato-Basil Pasta, Corn Tomatillo Salsa, Refried Beans

Dinner: Oats ‘n Honey Bar, Rice Crackers and Nuts—I missed a chance to eat a proper dinner, and it became too late to eat. A rare occasion for me not to have a proper meal.

My B-day Menu 9/16

Very Berry Milk Shake

Breakfast: Coffee, Very Berry Milk Shake

Lunch: Spaghetti with Sun Dried Tomato-Basil Sauce and Fresh Tomatoes—yum yum as usual.

Dinner at Soy and Sake: Tempura Bento-Box—I love tempura, but since it requires to have a lot of oil in hand, I hardly ever make them any more. You can keep using the oil for awhile, but who wants to eat tempura every day? Thus it is often my choice of dish when I go out to a Japanese restaurant.

Monday’s Menu 9/10

Green Goddess

Breakfast: Coffee, Green Goddess Shake

Lunch: none!–what happened to that? I almost never skip any meal.

Dinner: Fresh Tomato-Basil Pasta, Eggplant Salad, Cornbread—where did my fabulous Cornbread recipe go? This batter looked drier than usual. I couldn’t find my original recipe until a few hours later this was baked. This version tastes fine, just bit drier. I’m putting my original cornbread recipe on the Recipe Page, so that I will never loose it.

Supper: Sauteed Green, Yellow, Purple Beans, Carrots, and Yellow Bell Pepper, Mushroom Tomato Penne, Iced Barley Tea, Chocolate Fudge Ice Cream from Lula’s

Monday’s Menu 8/20

Green Goddess

Breakfast: Coffee, Green Goddess Shake

Lunch: Orange Glazed Tempeh and Broccoli, Rice & Beans, Iced Mint Tea

Dinner: Fresh Tomato & Basil Spaghetti, Strawberry Ice Cream and Dark Chocolate Covered Digestives, Limeade—when you can get ripe fresh tomatoes cheap, this is the dish to make. No heat is used to make this sauce. Just mix chopped fresh tomatoes, basil, olive oil, salt, pepper, cayenne pepper in a big bowl and wait at least half an hour. Mix with cooked pasta. Simple and good.
