Breakfast: Coffee, Green Goddess

Lunch at HealthNut: Left-over Sweet Brown Rice and Soy Beans, Scrambled Tofu, Cooked Greens—I brought my rice because they don’t make one here. But I bought other food to eat there and I brought a friend as well, so I should be allowed.

Dinner: Orange Carrot Ginger Soup, Quick Kale Salad—I remembered a wonderful sweet and savory carrot-ginger-? soup from a little cafe in Paris. When I saw this recipe, I thought this was it. But this wasn’t it. It was an okay soup.

Breakfast: Coffee, Purple Shake

Lunch: A Left-over lunch (Sweet Brown Rice, Sauteed Tofu and Broccoli, Soy Beans, Tangerines)—I was happy to have this lunch. A break from eating out.

Dinner: Kale Salad with Wasabi Chickpeas—I made a big bowl full of kale salad tonight. I felt like eating very green. It was tasty, too.

Breakfast: Coffee, Green Goddess Shake

Lunch: Falafel Plate from Mamoun’s—believe it or not, I finished the whole thing.

Dinner: Japanese Dinner (Avocado Sashimi, Kimpira, Soy Beans, Tofu from last night, Boiled Spinach, Sweet Brown Rice)—M was not going to be home for dinner, so I didn’t cook, just gathered things up and warmed rice. My mom calls a dinner like this “Soshoku” (The Simple Meal). I was perfectly happy.
