Breakfast: Coffee, Green Goddess Shake

Lunch at ‘s Nice: Smoked Tempeh Wrap—I don’t like tempeh, but this smoked tempeh wrap was good. I ate the whole thing in 2 minutes.

Dinner: Lemon Chicken Fried Rice, Fuji Apple, Home Brewed Cold Tea—I used Vegan Lemon Chicken from May Wah. When I tasted it in the store, it tasted like seasoned lemon soy sauce chicken. In my fried rice, it tasted more like lamb! It had that after taste. I made a cold flu tea with peppermint leaves, elderberries, licorice root, ginger, lemon, and honey. It tasted pretty good.

Monday’s Menu 11/12

Very Berry Milk Shake

Breakfast: Coffee, Very Berry Milk Shake

Lunch: Classic Falafel Sandwich from Crisp—mmmmm…it was ok. Their sign said “the best falafel in town”, and that’s why I walked in. Their whole wheat pita was too fluffy and thick, cucumber/tomato salad in the sandwich was flavor less. There are quite a few Middle Eastern food chain opened up in the city and I was happy about it. I haven’t found any of them is really flavorful, yet.

Dinner: Fried Rice (green peas, corn, onion, brown rice, tofu), Veggie Burger

Dinner: Mustard Leaf Dumplings, Apple—it’s a stormy day. Since we are going to loose electricity, we are eating everything in the fridge before it goes bad.
