Breakfast: Very Berry Milk Shake

Lunch at ba’al cafe and falafel: Falafel, Hummus, Tabouli, Pita with Olive Oil and Sesame Seeds—falafel was good. Tabouli was awesome. Pita with olive oil and sesame was a nice touch. Hummus was ehh.

Dinner: Rice and Beans, Sauteed Kale, Avocado and Tomato Salsa, My NG Vegan Brownie—I used the left over 6 grain rice for rice n beans. Very good. Avocado and tomatoes are out of season right now, but sometimes you just want to have fresh vegetables in a middle of winter.

February 2nd Menu

Breakfast: Coffee, Green Goddess Shake (I used soy protein powder instead of tofu since I was out of tofu. The result was not the same. The protein powder made it more smooth, but it changed the taste. I like tofu in my shake better.)

Lunch: I call this Vegan American Breakfast! (Home Fries, Colored Pepper, Roasted Beets, Curried Kale and Chickpeas)

Dinner at Teeda Thai with Friends: Pad See Ew with Tofu, Thai Vegetable Dumplings—a small gem in Redhook, Brooklyn. The Vegetable Dumplings smelled like and tasted like filled with green garlic in a sticky mochi like pastry. Very good. 🙂

Dinner at Jalopy Tavern: Chickpea Sliders, Kale Salad, Potato Tots, Phyllo with Honey—all yummy small plates. Awesome. We went here before the live music show next door, Jalopy Theater.

Mid Night Snack: Samosa

Breakfast: Coffee, Choco-berry Shake (banana, raspberries, peaches,  tofu, cocoa powder, almond milk)

Lunch: Cauliflower Curry over Basmati Rice and Daal, Iced Barley Tea

Dinner: Fried Rice with Dried Smoked Tofu, Swiss Chard, and Fresh Corn, Peaches—made by my hubby.

Breakfast: Coffee, Apple Energy Shake (Apple Cider, Banana, Blueberries, Green Vibrance, Almond Milk, Tofu)—This is a new shake! I was not quite sure about Green Vibrance and Tofu in this shake, but the result was another good shake combination.

Saturday Lunch: Butternut Pancakes with Maple Syrup, Mixed Green Salad, Strawberries, Earl Grey Tea —This is becoming my favorite weekend lunch. It’s never brunch for me, since I don’t skip yummy shake breakfast.
